The Drôme is a not regulated mountain river with various water levels. In spring time, it can sometimes amuse sportive paddlers, summer is a good time for a family boat tour. The best canoe section is on the road from Vercheny to Saillans.

The nearest climbing rocs (beginners to 6c) are situated near Chastel-Arnaud (on the bypass road of Saillans: take the direction of Bourdeaux and Chastel-Arnaud). We may lend you our description book.
Other nice rocks are in Saoû (beginners) and nearby Die on the way to Romeyer

The Paragliding school « Jeux d’Ailes » has arranged some training places in Aurel, just in front of Vercheny www.jeuxdailes.com
